Did Rachel Riley closeness with strictly partner Pasha Kovalev cause marriage breakdown

Reports have surfaced that Rachel Riley’s ‘closeness’ with
her Strictly Come Dancing partner Pasha Kovalev may have
contributed to her split from husband

Sources claim that Rachel and Pasha were ‘clearly very
close’ during their time on Strictly – which didn’t sit well
with Jamie.
The source told The Sun: ‘Rachel and Pasha were clearly
very close. The amount of time she spent with him was too
much for Jamie. It was the last thing the marriage needed.
‘There had been difficulties and her spending lots of her
social time with Pasha was the final straw. The jealousy
drove Jamie mad.’
Riley’s filming schedule had also been a suggested cause
for her split from Gilbert as it meant the pair drifted apart.

'Rachel is away filming much of the time. Jamie’s stuff is
still at the house so he hasn’t technically moved out' a
source revealed to The Mirror.
A family friend added that Jamie was ‘shocked and
stunned’ over the breakdown of their relationship.
The Countdown host dated Gilbert for four years before
splitting in 2009.
They reconciled and got engaged two years ago before
tying the knot in August 2012.
